Delicious and healthy LCHF muffins are a great idea for breakfast or snack for to go. You can combine them with some other foods (such as sour cream, vegetable spread, chicken pate…). But also, you can eat just them. Salty Keto Muffins are tasty enough with bacon and cheese that go into the muffin dough.
SALTY KETO MUFFINS RECIPE
The recipe makes 12 small muffins or less (depending on molds). Nutritional value per serving (if 12 muffins in total): 146 Calories, 12.8 g Fat, 1.7 g Net Carbs, 5.7 g Protein.
Ingredients that you need:
- 2 eggs
- 6 oz. (180 g) of sour cream
- 1 ½ oz. (45 g) butter
- 3 ½ oz. (100 g) of LCHF flour (flaxseed meal + almond flour)
- 3 ½ (100 g) of Feta cheese
- 1 oz. (30 g) of bacon
Preparation:
At first, preheat the oven to 180 degrees C (350 degrees F).
Beat the eggs and add melted butter. Add sour milk and LCHF flour. Then mix all together.
Cut the bacon to small pieces. Crumble cheese using your hands and add both to the mixture.
Add salt to taste, depends on how much cheese and bacon are salty.
Fill the muffin molds with mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional).
Bake at preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes.
Serve warm or cold, and enjoy!
