Ricotta sesame balls are the great low-carb appetizer that will everyone like! The crispness of the sesame and creamy taste of cheese is certainly a fantastic combination. It’s so simple and takes no time to prepare. However, it is perfect to include in your festive menu.
RICOTTA SESAME BALLS
The recipe makes 34 balls. Time of preparation is 10 – 15 minutes. Nutritional value per serving (1 ball): 58 Calories, 4.4 g Fat, 0.8 g Net Carbs, 3.5 g Protein.
Ingredients that you need:
- 10 oz. (300 g) Ricotta cheese (Organic Valley)
- 3 ½ oz. (100 g) white chicken meat, cooked
- 7 oz. (220 g) sesame seeds
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Take previously baked (or boiled) chicken meat and grind it.
Bake the sesame seeds. You can do it in a microwave oven by placing it on a plate and inserting it into the microwave at the strongest temperature, two or three times for a minute. After each minute, mix well.
Smash the cheese, and then add chicken meat, 3 ½ oz. (100 g) of sesame seeds and spices.
Form 34 balls of Ricotta sesame mixture and then roll them into the remaining sesame seeds.
