BACON WRAPPED AVOCADO BITES

This recipe makes 16 bites. Time of preparation is 10 minutes, plus 15 minutes baking (25 minutes in total).

Ingredients that you need:

  • 2 large firm avocados (Pick two that are almost ripe, but not quite.)
  • 16 strips of bacon
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
  • and 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation:

At first, preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Place a piece of parchment paper on a large baking tray and set aside.

Prepare 16 strips of bacon. Then cut both avocados into 8 wedges each. Gently remove the peel.

Wrap a piece of bacon around each avocado wedge, twice. Make sure you start wrapping on the underside, so you would end also on the underside. Lay the avocado wedges on the baking sheet with the bacon ends tucked underneath.

Then sprinkle the wedges lightly with chili, curry, and salt to taste.

Bake for 15-20 minutes until the bacon is red and crisp. Cool the bites on a paper towel to drain off the excess fat. Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
