“PESTICIDAL” FOODS

The most pesticide residues have: celery, peaches, strawberries, kale, lettuce and blueberries. But in this group include: apples, tomatoes, cucumbers, grapes, nectarines, potatoes, spinach and peppers.

HOW TO CLEAN AND WASH THEM FROM PESTICIDES?

Since you cannot always buy organic, because of the money and, sometimes, because of the unavailability, you need to learn how best to clean and wash fruits and vegetables in order to remove as much pesticide.

The simplest way is to wash vegetables and fruits in a bowl in which you diluted a bit of apple cider vinegar (or ordinary).

Another effective way of cleaning that food is that you dissolve a little sea salt and lemon juice in water. Then soak the food in the water for 10 minutes. After that just rinse them.

A little more complicated, but also a very effective way to clean fruits and vegetables is to treat it with next mixture. Dissolve a small amount of vinegar, baking soda and grapefruit seed extract in a glass of water. Then put this mixture into a spray bottle, and spray with it fruits and vegetables. Leave it for an hour, and after that wash well under running water.
